Meet at the Mariposa Fairground at 7:00 AM to carpool to the refuge.
The Merced National Wildlife Refuge encompasses 10,262 acres of wetlands, native grasslands, vernal pools, and riparian areas in California. It was established in 1951 under the Lea Act to attract wintering waterfowl.
Bring along a lunch or snacks, water, a camera and binoculars if you have them.
